Counselors Needed

Arts Mission needs counselors for Sing Out 2010!

Requirements:

• You must be a minimum of 15 years of age by July 25, 2010 and/or a rising 10th grader for Fall 2010.
• Counselors must be available for workshop duties at Durham School of the Arts the whole week. Required times are as follows:
  1. Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 2:00pm, for set-up & staff meeting.
  2. Sunday, July 25, 2010 thru Friday, July 30, 2010, from approx. 8:15am thru 6:00pm
  3. Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 8:15am thru the conclusion of the 4:00pm finale concert, as well as the completion of strike and load out.
• Duties of counselors:
  • Daily check-in and check-out of participants
  • Singing and dancing in rehearsals with the participants
  • Escorting kids to bathroom, nurse, snack and lunch times, etc.
  • Setting up and cleaning up after break times and lunches
  • Helping with basic discipline
  • Assisting clinicians as needed
  • Participating in Wacky Olympics!
  • Performing in finale show
  • As well as other duties as need arises!

Please note that this counselor position is on a volunteer basis. However, lunches will be provided free of charge, as well as all music, camp t-shirt and group photo.
